Hi everyone, I am quite new to OpenFoam and this is my first thread on this forum. First of all, let's look at my geometry; the idea is that an injector (perforated pipe in order to mix fluid 1 and fluid 2) is placed on the top of the "inner pipe" (which carries fluid 1). Whereas, within the annular section comprise between the "inner pipe" and the "outer pipe", fluid 2 flows. Further above, there is another section which allows the passage of another amount of fluid 1 Now, with SnappyHexMesh I manage to mesh all the volume I am interested in, except for the inside region of the inner pipe and injector. I have tried to modify "locationinMesh" point in several ways but I did not get the desired result. This sounds quite strange to me since, in any case, the holes on the injector should represents a physical opening between the regions.

Here I attach the snappyHexMeshDict and a picture which could make my words more clear.

Thanks in advance,
Jacopo

Are the holes just very small? Are you refining the mesh enough to put several cells inside of the holes?

Thanks for the reply!
Actually, I thought the holes were not so small and I wanted to limit the number of cells. Now, due to the increase in the refinement level by 2, also the inner region is covered by the mesh.

Thank you so much,
Jacopo
