Parallel Processing

I am interested in using OpenFoam with multiple processors. I viewed Josef Nagy's youtube video and I felt that the method is complex in that it appears that the model must be manually split for each processor. As I anticipate using 10 to 20 processors it appears tedious and more importantly error prone. Given that Mr. Nagy's video is a few years old, has the use of multiple processors been streamlined? I will be using Openfoam 1912 under Ubuntu with Intel cores.

Stay well,

Barry Quigley

I would welcome feedback as to whether I posted in the right forum.

I am not sure I understood your question but you have to use decomposePar to manually split your domain in OF.
