Hi All,

I'm working on this project for months. I'm using Multi-phase, InterFoam, WaterChannel case.

Openfoam Version 5.0

My problem is that in the beginning, my origin in the blockmeshDict was left corner of Branch Channel & when i got my solution converged, I changed the origin in the blockMeshDict according to the paper i was following. But with changing this origin I'm not getting the same results at outlet as i got with the first blockMeshDict file. All my other files are same.

My files are attached below with more description.

InkedFirstCase_LI.jpg

This is my first case as you can see here, the value near the outlet and my origin shown with arrow.

Inked2ndCase_LI.jpg

This is my 2nd case, Remember that I'm using same BC's , Nothing changed except this origin. Similarly Velocity also varies.

blockmeshDict files.zip

Here are my Both blockMeshDict files.

I was looking for this problem on this forum & as well as i googled but i couldn't find the answer. I'm looking for someone who can help me in this regard or atleast give me some suggestions.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks

Regards.

i checked your geometries,
they are exact the same.

it shouldn't be a geometry issue imo.

can you upload your g-file in the constant-dict?

i see, my first suspicion was that maybe gravity is not chosen in the right direction, but that looks fine.

if everything else is the same, i don't really know why the result is not the same.

btw what are you showing in the two pictures. you didn't write any title, so i don't really know what i am looking at.

Hi Geth..

i also made changes in setFieldsDict, but i don't think that the error is because of these files
Here are my files,

New folder.zip

setFields1 is of 1st case

setFields2 is of 2nd case.

i can't comment on that i don't have access to your data,
so i don't know what the void fraction looks like in both
domains after executing setFields.

can you post pics of both in the 0-time after executing setFields?
