Suggest some mesh software to make structured meshes
Greetings everyone,
I'm a beginner and just started using OpenFoam. I have worked only on a few tutorials now but now I want to work on my own research project. I'm having some troubles with making a structured mesh on this geometry (see picture 1). Basically, its an airfoil with a few vortex generators. I have also attached a picture(2) of a mesh that I want to replicate (well at least the size and all as the geometries are not identical) It would be really grateful to you guys if you could suggest some software or open source code that may be helpful in my case. Also, since sweep mesh is not possible in mesh in picture 2, how did this guy manage to make a structured mesh? Thanking you, Abhinav Picture 1- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1woF...ew?usp=sharing Picture 2-https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QDMenW4qPaGEzhbSNgwKrfrReO35nncK/view?usp=sharing |
Pls use the attach function to add images ... people don't like clicking links with unknown destination.

You will need a multi-block structured mesher for similar job and as far as I know there is not any open-source software with this capability.
But you can also use a cartesian mesher for this purpose such as SnapyHexMesh or cfMesh... |
