Greetings,
do i need to rerun SnappyHexMesh if i changed something in my blockmeshdict? And if so, would "-overwrite" or "-constant" be the the right addition? Kind regards, Amaterasu |

assuming your final mesh is snappyHexMesh yes. Mesh from the blockMesh is a background mesh, from which the mesh in snappy is generated.
Overwrite on snappyHexMesh will overwrite the original background mesh with the final mesh in constant/polyMesh. Without it the mesh is written to some time directory (based on the settings in controlDict). For more details please see: https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...pyhexmesh.html |
