Hi everyone,
I'm facing a bad issue concerning the snapping of the aft.area of the hull I'm meshing (see pics attached). Obviously, if I try to place the boundary layer, SHM can't let it grow in that zone, The STL file has high triangulation refinement in that zone (so I can exclude poor geometry resolution). Any ideas? Please find also my SHM dict attached. I have openfoam2012 Thank you |

Hello Andrea, I'm not sure if I understand your problem properly. If your issue is sHM growing viscous layer badly or not at all, I have no suggestion for you, other than trying with a grid where all cells intersecting the hull have the same size. Or try meshing with cfMesh.
