Hey guys!

After getting really frustrated with snappyHexMesh, I decided to try cfMesh for my multiRegion case. My workflow:
1. make one Mesh for each region
2. use topoSet to define cell- and faceZones
3. mergeMeshes
4. splitMeshRegions

I am not getting any error and one nice mesh after that but the problem is that the regions are not connected.
So, how can I do that? My idea was to either use stitchMesh or createBaffles to get the "this_to_that" patches but I don't really know how to do that or if that is even the right way to do it.

Does anyone have an idea?

Hi Claudia

I would really appreciate that you could share more details about step 2, 3 and 4. Especially, how to implement those steps in cfMesh?

Many thanks.

Best Regards,

Ke

Hi guys,

Did you manage to merge nodes on the interface zones so mesh is comformal?

I ma struggling on how to do it. cfMesh do a nice work, but after mergeMeshes nodes at the interface are not connected...

Thanks in advance
