do Squiggles in snappyHexMesh effect quality
 

Hello fellow openFoamers. I am a new user of the software so please be understanding if I ask stupid questions :).

While I was using sHM, I noticed that there were these squiggles/non uniform blocks where uniform ones should(could) be.

photo is attached at the bottom of thread.

My MAIN QUESTION: Do these affect my results in any way? Do these affect my mesh quality?

What you see is just related to mesh visualization in ParaView.
You can tick the "crinkle slice" option to avoid cutting the cells.
