mesh distortion in OpenFOAM of a model created in Salome

3 Attachment(s)
hello, I have created an irregular solid in salome 9.7, following this procedure:

  1. I have some points that I need to form a closed 3d shape with, so first I create some triangles and quadrilaterals with these points.
  2. I created a shell with these triangles and quadrilaterals
  3. I created a solid with this shell
  4. I created the mesh using NETGEN 3D and NETGEN 1D-2D algorithms
At first glance everything seems fine (first attachment), but when I clip the mesh distortions appear (second attachment), the same thing happens when I export it to a UNV file and import it into OpenFOAM 2106 (third attachment).

Why is this happening and how to avoid this problem?, thanks in advance.

My points were located very far from the origin, to be more exact one of the points had the coordinate (502460, 8586544, 3592), it seems that this is the reason for the distortion since when I move the points close to the origin, i.e. close to (0,0,0), the distortion disappears. I have tried to configure Salome so that it can create the mesh correctly in the original location, but I have not been able to do it, for now the only solution I have is to move the points closer to the origin, or at least not very far.
