Dear all,

I familiarise myself with the communty driven version foam-extend of OpenFoam in order to utilise the turbomachinery features like mixing plane and so ...

Meshing with Salome for example works fine, but the workflow with snappyHexMesh seems to be different?

I am not capable to make use of surfaceFeatureExtract. It is completely ignoring the according surfaceFeatureExtractDict.

When using it "manually" with "surfaceFeatureExtract -includedAngle 150 ../../xx.stl ../../xx.eMesh" some files are created, but they can not be read by sHM..

Could anyone explain how to apply sHM in fe4.1? My issue with these .eMesh-files is that sharp edges are not meshed sufficiently.

Best wishes
