paraFOAM include sets
 

Hello everybody,


checkMesh is stating bad mesh quality and I have problems to vialuaize the bad cells in paraFoam on my machine with OF2012 and paraview 5.4.1. teh option "include Sets" is not shown to set the tag. On my other machine with OF21 and paraview 5.11 it works. The case is the same on both machines...


Anyone can help?


What I checked already:


- paraFoam does not show it, as stated above
- paraview bananas.foam the same
- paraview bananas.OpenFOAM does not work at all
-"Read Zones" and "Extract ..." does not help, either
- unfortunaltely, foamToVTK complains that /system/controlDict is not present when I start it in the Sets folder (constant/polyMesh/Sets)



Would be glad for some hints.

Hello,

You have to execute foamToVTK at the root of your case.
When running checkMesh you can also use the -writeSets vtk option and checkMesh will automatically write sets in VTK format in the postProcessing directory.
