Hello!

Do you know if OpenFoam 10 could be used for simulations with overset mesh? It seems that there is no type "overset" for the patches. Neither in the case of BCs.

Thanks!

Hi,

AFAIK you cannot do overset simulations in OpenFOAM 10, but there are other branches with overset available.

Overset in not implemented in the foundation branch (openfoam.org) but it is implemented in the ESI-OpenCFD branch (openfoam.com) and foam-extend.

Regards,
Yann
