I want to do a single-phase simulation in stirred tank reactor with an axisymmetric mesh like the first image where mesh can be defined in cylindrical coordinates (r, theta,z). I think this type of mesh can be generated with the help of m4 but I didn't find relevant tutorials on the web. Another challenge is due to the presence of a baffle, it is difficult to mesh in blockMesh.
I have already managed to make mesh by first making geometry in cad and later importing in blockMesh and snappyhexmesh like this. Thank you. Last edited by BIRAJ; June 28, 2023 at 00:11. |
