Floating point exception error in foam-extend 5.0
 

I am learning to use the immersed boundary method in foam-extend 5.0 to simulating identify the grids around a wind turbine. The error occured when I used writeIbMasks to identify the grids around the wind turbine. I found if I used model rotor.ftr, the command of writeIbMasks runs normally. When I used the model tower.ftr, there was also no error. Then I assembled these two parts by the SolidWorks and exported Windturbine.stl and Windturbine.ftr. Something wrong happens when I use Windturbine.ftr for writeIbMasks in foam-extend 5.0. A Floating point exception is displayed. I have looked at the source code writeIbMasks.C, but I still have no idea. Finally i got the IbMasks by unsetting FOAM_SIGFPE,but i don't know if this approach will have any other impacts. Thanks, any help would be much appreciated, as I am pulling my hair out here, trying to figure this out.
