Hi. I am trying to mesh three rectangular prisms sitting on top of each other (Heat source, copper block and finally an Aluminum heatsink). All the stls were made in Freecad and watertight. For some reason (I am new to this) I get illegal face indexs which I am led to believe causes errors in simulation (I get negative Kelvin temperatures.
The heatsource is 3x3x3mm with bottom face at z=2mm. (I wanted it to be smaller in z direction to be closer to an IC but I got other meshing errors) The copper block is 50x50x2mm and bottom face is at z=0 and the Al heatsink is 63.5x63.5x8.4mm with top face at z=0. Would someone be able to review SnappyHexMeshDict and give me an indication what I am doing wrong. I have changed alot of parameters and nothing helped and now I feel I am going in circles. The zip attached also includes my log files for snappyhexmesh and splitmesh Thanks. Any help would be appreciated https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o_K...ew?usp=sharing |
