Hi, I am new to meshing in Openfoam. when I am using snappyHexMesh with boundary layers. Around the trailing edge the boundary layers are not present. I am sharing my snappyHexMeshDict file. Can someone refer and tell what the problem where i am doing wrong.

Try to set nGrow to -1 as laters wont be stepped.
Try to reduce your quality requirements. It is better to set them on the relaxed dict |

Hi,
I think you should increase the featureAngle, as you are currently explicitly asking snappy to not add layers on faces having an angle > 60°. Code:
// When not to extrude surface. 0 is flat surface, 90 is when two faces // are perpendicular featureAngle 60; |

Yann, Thanks by increasing the FeatureAngle to 120, the problem got solved.

Hi Yaan, i am facing similar issue again. If you have time can you please look in it the snappyHexMeshDict file.
SystemFiles. i tired with different y+ values and different element sizing. Somewhere i doing mistake. |
