delete patches

Hi All,

i found this thread after searching for "deleting a patch in the boundary file". Is there a way to delete a patch with nfaces neq. 0, so that these faces become internal, not wall?

thanks for your help!
Markus

Dear all,

I want to make a pipe mesh (that is shown in the attachment) with using snappyhexmesh . I used SolidWorks for CAD model and then saved it as STL file. However, I dont know how to implement it in snappyhexmesh.Could you please help me about it? Any help or recommendations would be more appreciated.

thank you

Hi nakku,

I hope it's not too late to tell you that I learnt a lot from the following tutorial on youtube:

It seems that what Calum does is close to what you're trying to do.

Good luck!
