blockMesh error
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install OpenFoam 1.6 on Ubuntu 9.10 64 Bit. I've followed the canonical procedure to install it... I was put to the task of testing out the install and tried to do the first tutorial, Lid-Driven Cavity Flow. For whatever reason, when I run the command blockMesh (yes, I've made sure that I type it in as blockMesh), I get "-bash: blockMesh: command not found." I don't really have a clue as to what is going on with it (other than that it either wasn't made or isn't linked correctly): any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot, Giancarlo |

Strange ...
Did you even source the .bashrc afterwards (restart the terminal)? Any messages when opening a new terminal? |
Yes, I've source .bashrc..
Anyway when I've test the Installation it has found a CRITICAL ERROR : gzip 1.3.12 /bin/gzip tar 1.20 /bin/tar icoFoam WARNING: Conflicting installations: OpenFOAM settings : /home/limin/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.6.x/applications/bin/linux64GccDPOpt/icoFoam current path : CRITICAL ERROR |
