Hi
is possible create in OpenFoam a mesh composed of prisms created from hex cell divided in two part from the digonal plane? |

Hello Daniele,
Yes, it is possible. In this case one face of the hexagon turns into an edge (two vertices). Despite the modification, the mesh is yet defined as an hexagon which eliminated vertices take the name of the corresponding edge vertices. There's an example in page U-140 of the UserGuide All the best |
