non conformal interface, meshing, inverted volume

Dear All

Good after noon to all

I am doing the centrifugal fan modeling

I have comeplted the model and meshing

1. can any one instruct which type of mesh can be used for the rotating mass (multiple rotating frame) and for inlet cone and for involute voluems

2. also i request any one to instruct about how to do the non conformal interface in fluent

3. one more request to all how to remove the inverted volume in the model

Thanks in advance

I struggled with interface problem but there was no way to solve it with OF 1.7.1 and finally I gave up.

However, I found that OpenFOAM-1.5-dev includes ggi(General Grid Interface) which can be used as interface of fluent/gambit though I failed to install the dev version of OpenFOAM.

You can easily find the 1.5-dev via googling.

If you are interested in 1.5-dev, it might be help for you to try it.

Geon-Hong.
