Meshing curved geometry

Hi. I am Zannatul. I am a new user of OpenFoam. I need to mesh a scoured surface which is curved in shape. First I am trying to mesh a circular shape along with a rectangular shape. But my mesh is not very good as I am not getting desired results after simulation. I am also thinking to mesh my geometry following the second tutorial in OpenFoam user guide. Can anyone give me some suggestion? It will be really helpful. I have attached my geometry and the mesh I have prepared. Thanks in advance.
