OpenCFD is pleased to announce the release of OpenFOAM-v3.0+

OpenFOAM+ uses the OpenFOAM Foundation version as a common code base. It contains wider functionality and platform support, including Linux, Windows and Mac. Its purpose is to accelerate the public availability of new features which are sponsored by OpenCFD’s customers and contributed by the OpenFOAM community.

Moderator note to forum users: As done in other announcement threads, when the discussion gets too long and starts to veer off a bit out of context of the original intended of the announcement thread, a new thread is opened or another on the related topic is used, for neatly keeping a discussion thread going.

Therefore, posts that were made between the 15th of January to the 2nd of February have been moved to http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...am-v3-0-a.html - those posts were on the topic of What's all this then, for which OpenCFD Limited did not answer within roughly 1 month here on this announcement thread. Therefore, the discussion has been moved to the other thread so that it can be better discussed by the community.
