ESI OpenCFD Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of OpenFOAM v1912.

This December marks the 15 year anniversary since OpenCFD first brought
you OpenFOAM, free and open source.

This December's release includes significant new functionality, including:
  • new adjoint-based automated shape optimisation tools
  • new interface-tracking dynamic meshes
  • new turbulence stabilisation for incompressible multiphase systems
  • new expressions engine that offers greater control and flexibility
    over your case set-ups
  • new collimated radiaion modelling
  • new k-epsilon-phit-f RANS tubulence model closure
  • new binary file compatibility
  • new weighted flux differencing scheme
  • and much more!
