FOAM-extend next release (release 3.2) - test phase extended to August 31st
Following the recent announcement by Prof. Jasak of a unified source tree that compiles on Linux, Mac and Windows platforms:
http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...linux-mac.html and after several new merges and bug fixes, an updated release candidate is now available for testing before proceeding with the official release of version 3.2. We therefore kindly ask members of the FOAM community to test everything again thoroughly. Please install the release candidate, run the test loop, and test your own cases. This should be done by August 31st, after which foam-extend-3.2 will be officially released and merged to the master branch. The instructions to test this new release candidate are exactly the same as in June and may be found in the original release 3.2 post: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...june-25th.html Please report any compilation problems in this thread. Help us write installation recipes for different architectures. Report bugs in the Mantis bug-tracker: http://sourceforge.net/p/openfoam-ex...extendrelease/ The foam-extend administrators. |
