Dear Colleagues, Following on from the highly successful 11th OpenFOAM Workshop held this year in Guimarães, Portugal, we are very pleased and proud to announce that the 12th
OpenFOAM Workshop will take place 24th-27th July 2017 at the University of Exeter, UK. The OpenFOAM Workshop is a very popular annual event organised by community members, attracting academic, industrial and all other users of the OpenFOAM code (all versions) from around the world. It is open to everyone regardless of origin and/or area of activity. The Workshop provides a forum for users to present cutting edge research in OpenFOAM, both development and application, and is a chance for users to meet and discuss all aspects of the code and future developments. The event also includes training courses in different levels of OpenFOAM, serving beginners as well as experienced users and developers. We look forward to welcoming you to Exeter in July 2017 and we will announce further updates on the workshop via this mailing list, on CFD online and social media. Chris. (On behalf of the Local Organising Committee for OFW12). P.S. Further announcements over the next year will be posted in this thread |

Chris,
Is there a link to the new workshop website (or will it be the current one?) so those that need to request funding and or add it to their budget months ahead of time can put that on their request forms? Best Regards, Dan Last edited by chegdan; December 22, 2016 at 18:55. |

For those not registered to the mailing list for OFW12, the map for the full program is up since yesterday morning!
Direct link: https://openconf.org/ofw12/modules/r....php&p=program (Mental note: Will have to update the link once it's moved to the static repository in a few months from now...) |

Does anyone know where it actually is? Everything under location in the website just says "university of Exeter." It does a lovely job of explaining the history of the University, but doesn't give a word about which building on the University it's actually taking place in....

From there, the OFW12 site is at: http://openfoam-extend.sourceforge.n...ter/index.html. I am not sure what 'resources' you are looking for, but you will find talks, abstracts and training material there. Philip |

It seems that training resources link is directed to https://wiki.openfoam.com/Tutorials.
I am not sure if all the material is there but there are plenty of nice tutorials. |
