Hi all,
I recently compiled OF v1812 & ParaView 5.6.0 on Ubuntu 18.06. I'd like to use the OSPray plugin, but I see no mention of it in ParaView, so I assume it doesn't come prepackaged and I have to jump through some additional hoops. Does anyone have any insight as to how to install the OSPray plugin in PV on Ubuntu? I haven't been able to find any instructions. When I install PV 5.6.0 on my windows machine, it is automatically configured and I can use it out of the box, so I'm not sure why there's a difference between the operating systems. |

Getting all the pieces together to build OSPray from source is indeed somewhat challenging. If the prebuilt paraview binaries from kitware have OSPray, then just that. For most regular uses of OpenFOAM, you are well served by the VTK builtin reader.
