I did a first calculation with a basic icoFoam solver, using mpi (4 processors).
I used a time vairiable velocity table as inlet. While reading results (both in decomposed case and in recomposed case) , I received this error: HTML Code:
. ERROR: In C:\DBD\pvs-x64\paraview\src\paraview\VTK\IO\Geometry\vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 6467 vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (000000000D884FE0): Error reading line 39 of E:\prova_icoF\processor0/0/U: Expected a number, found ( ERROR: In C:\DBD\pvs-x64\paraview\src\paraview\VTK\IO\Geometry\vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 6467 vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (000000000D885230): Error reading line 39 of E:\prova_icoF\processor1/0/U: Expected a number, found ( ERROR: In C:\DBD\pvs-x64\paraview\src\paraview\VTK\IO\Geometry\vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 6467 vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (000000000D885480): Error reading line 39 of E:\prova_icoF\processor2/0/U: Expected a number, found ( ERROR: In C:\DBD\pvs-x64\paraview\src\paraview\VTK\IO\Geometry\vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 6467 vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (000000000D8856D0): Error reading line 39 of E:\prova_icoF\processor3/0/U: Expected a number, found ( . I found a work-around: using foamToVTK utility, and reading (with paraView) not a case.foam file, but the VTK directory it works fine. So, I think that the error reported is a bug in paraView reader. env: openFOAM 2.3.0 - paraView 4.1.0 and 4.2.0 Thank for any help. Ciao Piero |
