Hi foamers,

I have a problem about unstructured mesh visualization problem in paraview.

When I clip part of my whole domain for better visualization. The slide of clipped part has sawtooth due to unstructured mesh.

Do you know how to get full rectangular slide in open foam?

Thank you all~

Best regards,
Ye

Quick answer: Without more details, my guess is that you need to follow these instructions: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/FA...is_in_ParaView

Dear Bruno,

Thank you for your reply. I have tried your method. But still have the same problem.
By the way, do you know whether refineMeshDict utility works well for unstructured mesh? I got a lot warning when I use it

Thank you!

Best regards,
Ye

Without access to the mesh, I can't deduce why the problem occurs If you can provide a small test case for reproducing the problem, I or anyone else should be able to diagnose better the problem.

It should work with unstructured mesh, but it might not work with every type of cell. I don't have experience with it when using tetrahedral and polyhedral cells, therefore I don't know if it works or not.

Best regards,
Bruno
