ggulgulia is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am a new user of Open Foam

I am mapping the data from an old file to a new mesh file using the following command:

# mapFields /FolderName -consistent -noFunctionObjects -mapMethod cellVolumeWeight -fields '(U,P)'

Terminal throws no fatal error or any other error.

next I hit paraFoam to visualize the mapped U and P fields, however I don't see any scalar/vector field in paraView.

Can anyone tell me what am i missing here?

Quick answers:
  1. It would be easier to diagnose the problem if you had followed the instructions given here: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-get-help.html
  2. Information that is missing:
    1. What is the complete output text given by mapFields?
    2. What do you see in ParaView?
Please keep in mind that we cannot see what you're seeing, if you don't show it to us.
