[Captain Convergence]

Dear community,

I want to visualize the mixing layers at the trailing edge of an airfoil. In order to do so, I would like to create 2 source lines that will release points every X timesteps and this points are transported with the flow field. This technique is also known as streaklines. I have attached a screenhot with an example of this (generated using TecPlot).

I have already generated my velocity vector field as : VELOX*iHat+VELOZ*kHat using a calculator

Then by using a slice and 2 clips I have created a line for my source.

I tried to use the streaklines filter but the points do not move throught the time-steps. I have already tried to set in the streakline filter with:
1) input=calculator | source=line
2) input=line | source=line

Which would be the correct way to do this in ParaView?

I have attached 2 screenshots of what I have tried so far:

With the stream-tracer with custom source it works perfectly. I use the vector field VELOX*iHat+VELOZ*kHat from calculator1 and I can plot with streamlines for all the time steps without issues.

Now I am trying to use the same input and source for the streaklines but nothing happens when I move through the time steps. In the streaklines options, I have set the termination time to 1/5th of my database length (I have 285 time steps, not physical time in paraview) and reinjection to 5 steps.

Do you have any clue why paraview is not showing anything to me?
