coastal593 is on a distinguished road
hi all,

i'm looking to do two things:

1) given some threshold in a parameter for selecting mesh elements of interest, i'd like to develop an autocorrelation (in this case a velocity autocorrelation). does anyone know how this might be possible/is it possible or perhaps equally as good if there is a reasonable export mechanism for the thresholded data so i could write an autocorrelation program myself?

2) everything in my threshold resolves discrete objects (in this case droplets). i'd like to histogram their sizes. is there a way that anyone knows of to do something like this? something like finding the maximum distance between connected elements as defined by the threshold?

thanks for your comments/help
