Visualisation of a surfaceScalarField with paraview
 

Hi,

how can I do the visualisation of a surfaceScalarField with paraview?

I've converted my case with foamToVTK using the option -surfaceFields.
But when I open the files in the VTK/surfaceFileds with paraview no data is displayed. From the drop down selector of "Color by" I can select the property I would like to view, for example phi, but nothing changes.

I will appreciate any advice how to solve this :-)

The fields are point fields (like lagrangian data) and give the value at the face centre. You'll need to 'Glyph' them.

Hello Foamers!

I am facing the same problem with Peclet number which is also a surfaceScalarField. Pe fields are created but not diaplyed in ParaView, even not in the menu "Point Fields". So what do I do?
