change paraview files with somebody

Hi,
when i save my paraview session with "save state" (get a pvsm file) my partner can not read it again on his computer ("load state") when he saves the file locally on his computer. Why? Regards Achim |

The psvm file does not contain the data you have worked on, just the pipeline process you have applied. It will be expecting to find the data file in the same location where you opened it initially. There is a feature request currently at Kitware to have the option to Save State & Data into one file, which would then allow you to pass the psvm to your friend as you have just requested.
