dear foamers
I had problem with the paraview installed from the release provided along openfoam1.7 (; thus I uninstalled it and looked for it from its official website, downloaded it and starting again the paraFoam command.
the problem occurred: the paraFoam command was recognized but it does not recognize the .openfoam file that I was created. I also tried ".foam" empty file, but it was not beneficial; since the GUI closes, showing some errors in the terminal .
can anyone help me to solve this problem? plzzzzzzzz

Hi mhassani,
Can you be more specific about what problem you've got? Can you paste the error message here?
