hi,
I just started using OpenFoam 1.5 with MS Windows. I followed the instructions to simulate the Lid Driven Cavity problem in the user guide which is available on OpenFoam site. But when I open Paraview, the "cavity.foam" does not appear in the builtin tree....I also tried to open it manually..but i didn't find any "cavity.foam" file in the directory.

The file is created by paraFoam, and it is an empty text file called as the case and with extension .foam or .OpenFOAM.

You can either use paraFoam directly, if it works on Windows, or create the file manually.
