Hi all,

I'm trying to visualise ABL (Atmospheric Boundary Layer) shear in ParaView, but can't figure out how to do it with the included Calculator filter. What I need is to basically compare horizontal U components (x - flow-wise) between the cells in vertical direction (z), i.e. what's the ratio of U_x at a cell to the U_x at cell located above of it etc.
I've got a structured grid, but the CellID is not increasing along a single dimension, so I don't think I can use this as a parameter to identify cells' position. Does anyone know a simple recipe for this problem?

Cheers,

Przemek
