Hello everyone!
I am doing a wind simulation on a membrane. I am interested in the Cp values on the membrane surface... any ideas how to get it? Thank you! |

Not really. I have my lift and drag coefficients (Cl and Cd), but I would like to see the distribution of the pressure around the geometry.

You can calculate them very easily inside of paraview. Then they can be display in the same way as any other variable.

It's very easy. Select the data you want to operate on (the full case, a single surface you have extracted, etc.) Highlight that and click the calculator button, or go Filters > Alphabetical > Calculator. You can select point or cell data, and then use it as a normal calculator, using the Scalar/Vector variables available at the bottom. Hit apply and it will calculate. |

Hi,
I am struggling with a similar issue to Rider, trying to work out the center of pressure for a shape. Search has failed me so far, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |
