Hi All,
I know I should post this in the Paraview's forum, but I think more friends are here. When I use the filter "plot selection over time", I need to specify a point in the flow fields. In the past I always use the mouse to click on the contour plane. However, this is not very accurate. I would like to select a point through specifying the coordinates. I check the user guide but I did not find a good way to do so. Does anybody know how to do it? Thank you in advance! best regards, H |

Hey hz,
yo can use the probeLocations utility of OpenFOAM. It's in applications/utilities/postProcessing/sampling/probeLocations Copy the probesDict to your case folder and change the entries to your need. You can also probe at multiple locations. Then run probeLocations and some files will appear with the data inside. This data can then be plotted with any common plotting tool (Gnuplot, ...) Best regards Kathrin |
