Hi Foamers,
I attach the residual plot of one of my simulations. Anybody knows why temperature residuals fluctuate so much? I have a channel with two inlets, an outlet and a wall. I have adapted the implementation for using simpleFoam with temperature ("How to add temperature to icoFoam). This results are given with an unstructured tetrahedral mesh. If I use an hybrid mesh with prismatic boundary layer I don see this behaviour for residual plot of temperature. So I guess the problem is the mesh, but I am not sure. If needed I can attach the modified solver. Thanks for all the suggestions. |

it may related to mesh as you said, so you may want to try some limited scheme in your fvSchemes
