Hello everybody,

I used surface sample in OpenFoam to obtain the velocity fields (U,V,W) over a plane. Thus, I gave a base point and a normal vector to specify A PLANE I wanted to consider.

In the resulting surfaceSampling folder, there are some files:
* faceCenter => X,Y,Z of centers of each elementary face
* U => U,V,W at elementary face
* faces => list of 3 points (3 vertices) of each elementary face
* points => coordinates of these points

(Please bear in mind that I am not sure about the information contained in each file ).

I do the following steps:
* Firstly, I use these files to recognize the coordinates of three vertices of each elementary face.
* Then, these coordinates are implemented to calculate the area of each elementary face.
* The sum of these areas should be equal to the area of THE ABOVE PLANE. However, these two values are different!

May you give me some remarks or advices? They will be really appreciated.
