(FW-H OpenFOAM) Ffowcs-Williams and Hawking Acoustic model for OpenFOAM

Hello FOAMers,

Has any body implemented FW-H acoustic model in OpenFOAM or come across any Implementation of the model in OpenFOAM.

Is there any chance that OpenFOAM themselves will implement it any time soon !!

Thanks for your time and efforts for the replies,

Kind Regards,
Hasan K.J

libAcoustics for OpenFOAM 10

Hey everyone,

I am hoping to use the new non-conformal coupling in the CFD Direct version of OpenFOAM (OpenFOAM 10) alongside a FWH solution like the one implemented in libAcoustics. At the moment the compatibility of libAcoustics is only listed as OpenFOAM+; has anyone tested the compatibility with OpenFOAM 10 or attempted a fork?

Cheers,
Duncan

Hi,

I think you need to try the version from https://www.openfoam.com/.

Or you need change the code which is not easy.

Guanjiang
