why are only a few stream lines shown?
 

I've tried plotting stream lines in paraView, by pressing the 'streamline' button.

Is there a logical explanation as to why only a few streamlines are shown on the paraView graphic. I haven't set up any streamline code which I've seen in other tutorials and was thinking that this might be why I'm only seeing a fraction of the streamlines that I expect to see.

Streamline filter has certain settings like Maximum Streamline Length and Seeds. Final picture strongly depends on these settings.
