Dear everybody,
I am doing some examples from http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...pplication.pdf And I had a problem at slide 32. When I ran foamToVTK, I had a problem with it and the error as below Create time Create mesh for time = 0 fileName::stripInvalid() called for invalid fileName positions(copy)~ For debug level (= 2) > 1 this is considered fatal Aborted (core dumped) Could you please help me to solve this problem??? Thank you very much! Duong Tung |

Hi,
foamToVTK explicitly told you that it does not like "positions(copy)~" file. I think it is trailing tilde. |

Well,
You've got plenty of choices: 1. Find a file with a name "positions(copy)~", delete it, see if it helps. 2. Wait till somebody who did this tutorial and got the same error come to the forum and post step-by-step solution for you. 3. Wait till somebody downloads tutorial, tries to follow it through, gets the same error, posts the solution. 2 & 3 are rather unlikely. |
