Hello OpenFoamers:
I'm trying the different approaches present in OpenFoam for modelling solid-gas flows, because I will need to set up a simulation soon. I ran the Goldschmidt tutorial from the MPPICFoam solver, I'm trying to obtain images similar to those found in the DPMFoam page: http://www.openfoam.org/version2.3.0/dpm.php
There the geometry is shown in a semitransparent fashion and the particles are "coloured by particulate volume fraction" as the site says for both examples.
From information gathered in this forum, I converted the simulation results to VTK format, after that, I was able to create glyphs to represent the particles in the domain ( from the d scalar field [ is that correct?]). I cant find an option to colour the generated glyphs based on particulate volume fraction, the best I was capable of doing was to plot the domain coloured by volume fraction and over that the glyphs in a neutral colour.

Do anyone know how pictures similar to the ones shown in the DPMfoam site can be made?. Or more generally, how to colour glyphs based on the value of another field?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards.

Hello,

This is Min. I am wondering whether you have successfully obtained the figures similar with https://openfoam.org/release/2-3-0/dpm/. Thanks!

Best regards,
Min
