[OpenFOAM.org] installation problems

Hello everyone!
After typing the command
sudo apt-get update

After sometime it ends with these commands shown below

Reading package lists... Done

Can someone help?
BTW I have tried using 2 different INTERNET connections with same result.

Hi,
your question is not OpenFOAM related, so you'd better ask the it at Ubuntu forum, not here.

Alas - still we can learn an important skill crucial for OpenFOAM operation. It is reading the error message properly.

In your case, it says the release file does not exist, not that the internet connection is faulty.
You should upgrade the whole distribution I guess.

Good luck and come back with some OpenFOAM questions.
