Where is the file that checkMesh uses to decide if a cell is concave or not?. I want to edit it because it defines as concave all cells that have continuous parallel faces, and snappyHexMesh refinement inevitably generates those.
For extra information on the matter of snappyHexMesh creating cells with continuous parallel faces, you can check here: checkMesh |

dlahaye, there is no match for "concave" within blockMesh.C. So if it defines concavity limits, it does so by loading the concavity from elsewhere. Besides, that is neither a quality setting file, nor a checkMesh file. So I don't know how to find concavity settings from that file
I found a fix of sorts: you can use checkMesh -mesQuality, to use your own customized meshQualityDict from yourCase/system. |
