Injector ID for each particle to know its origin?

Hi,

I have a huge case with a lot of injectors and even more particles.
Solver is reactingParcelFilmFoam in OpenFOAM 4.x version.
In the end I want to know for certain particles from which nozzle/injector they originate.
A possible way would be something like an injector ID that each particle gets when injected.
Is there something like that? I haven't found anything...

Do you know of any way to trace a particle back to its injector?
The only way I see at the moment is to use particleTracks and follow the line from particle to injector. The only thing is, that with a huge amount of particles this is hardly possible.
