Hi guys,

I'm working with an actuator disk (actuationDiskSource) to represent a wind turbine, and I need to calculate some quantities, for example the extracted power on this disk.

First question is: is there an easy way to calculate it already native on OF 3.0.1?

Second question: I've done some research, and the power could be calculated summing the contribution of each cell of the disk, and it depends on the wind speed, density, cell area and "a" (1-Cp/Ct), so I would need to calculate it on each cell and sum it. Do you have any clue about how can I do this?

My disk is defined in topoSetDict (attached file) as a cellZone, I thought about using a volAverage or something like this from functionObjects, but I actually didn't have time to try it!
