Hello,

I have had to run my case in 2.4.0 instead of 5.0 because of version unavailability on this machine. The courant number is shooting up after some time and I'm trying to find out where by plotting Co field.

In 2.4.0, that's done by "Co" command after reconstructPar. When I run this, I get following error:
Code:
Time = 3e-08
    Reading phi
    Calculating compressible Co
    Reading rho
--> FOAM Warning :
--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
cannot find file

file: /path/x_latest/case/3e-08/rho at line 0.

    From function regIOobject::readStream()
    in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 73.
This is repeated for each written time step. In the corresponding folders there's no rho file but Phi exists.

The description of this utility from the 2.4.0 user guide says Co is calculated based on Phi. So am a bit baffled at why this error about rho.

Can anyone direct me the right way?
