Hi all,
I am using OlaFlow to run my simulation. I want to extract vorticity in my simulation domain but I cannot do so in paraview, also the code did not generate any data for vorticity that I can move to Matlab and draw vorticity domain. I would like to know if there is any solution for me to get vorticity without need to add code to fvSvhemes and re-run my case? I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Shima |

Hi Shima,
I am not familiar with olaFlow, but with other solvers, we can obtain vortices using Q-criterion. Is this possible in your case for ex: simpleFoam -postProcess -func Q. Let us know if you have already found the solution. Regards |

Unfortunately I cannot use -PstProcess command as I am using old version of OF. Is there any other ways that you are familiar with to find Q criterion? Best, Shima |
